The city of Baroda was badly hit by the heavy rains in the last week of August 2024. Vadodara Experienced a flood-like situation as the Vishwamitri River’s water level surged to 35 feet, according to authorities.
Our volunteers’ “Team Happiness” who has been led by our beloved Jitu Bhaiya, came up as a warrior in a situation like this. The team of volunteers were ready to help the residents caught up in the situation. They distributed Tea, water and food packets.
The team of more than 200 people covered areas like, Chhani, Manjalpur, Gotri circle and Vadodara Railway Station etc. Many food packets and water bottles were distributed which catered to many families in need.
In the wake of a severe flood, such as the one experienced in Vadodara in 2024, acts of seva (selfless service) play a crucial role in alleviating suffering and aiding recovery efforts. The “Team Happiness” which has been led by Jitendra Khimlani has been doing such Seva projects for more than 10+ years.
